Created for the Zink Invitational, this trophy marks the beginning of a new partnership between Patchwork Studio and Natural Selection Tour. Patchwork Studio will craft the trophies awarded at NST qualifying events, including Super Sessions, Dark Horse, and more. These events recognize the athletes who earn their spot across Natural Selection’s surf, ski, snowboard, and mountain bike competitions.

Built from solid black walnut, the trophy features the Natural Selection Tour logo carved directly into the wood using CNC machining, then hand-finished to highlight the depth and character of the grain. The geometric logo stands proud against a textured background, creating a balance between precision manufacturing and traditional craftsmanship.

Each trophy is completed with a custom brass plaque commemorating the event and achievement. Designed to feel substantial in the hand and timeless on a shelf, the piece reflects the spirit of Natural Selection itself. A blend of creativity, skill, and respect for the craft.
